ONIRICA () .LIGHTBOX

Onirica () .lightbox is a series of two lightboxes created as part of the Onirica () series.

These pieces advance the research initially started on the occasion of fuse*’s solo show at Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo in Padua. In that exhibition, the sacristy featured various smaller pieces designed to help visitors have a deeper understanding of the work's concept and research. Among these were 30 plexiglass prints, each displaying frames from the dreams featured in Onirica ().

The decision to create prints of Onirica () on transparent surfaces was an attempt to reflect the fragility and evanescence of dreams. In line with this concept, two lightboxes were designed, featuring frames from Onirica (). The arrangement of the frames, reminiscent of a rolling film, echoes the multitude and rapid succession of dreams, mirroring the experience in Onirica () and the mind of the dreamer during sleep.
