Multiverse .echo was on view at Espacio Fundación Telefónica, Madrid, from May 7 to October 11, 2026.

It was included in "Revolución Cuántica," an exhibition tracing more than a century of quantum physics, from Galileo to today's quantum computers. Curated by physicist Sonia Fernández-Vidal, the show paired historical scientific artifacts, including 17th-century editions by Galileo, with contemporary artistic installations that translated concepts such as quantum entanglement and the uncertainty principle into sensory experience. The exhibition also looked to the present, presenting a replica of a quantum supercomputer from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center alongside real chips developed by Spanish research institutions, showing how a "second quantum revolution" is already underway.

Multiverse .echo took the form of a new configuration of the original immersive installation, adapted to the scale and intimacy of a gallery space. Four large screens surrounded the viewer with simultaneous visions of the same cosmos, while at the end of the room a series of cubes offered smaller, individual interpretations of the universe: parallel universes unfolding at the same time, each following its own path.

We were glad to see Multiverse .echo included in a context so grounded in scientific rigor, alongside historical material spanning over a century of physics and works by artists including Semiconductor, vtol, and Superflux. It felt like a natural fit for a piece that has always drawn as much from cosmology and theoretical physics as from visual language: a chance to sit the installation directly within the scientific discourse that inspired it, rather than adjacent to it.
