.MORPHOS SEED6391

Seed6391, together with Seed6010, is a print on handmade cotton paper depicting a frame from Artificial Botany .morphos. The peculiarity of this piece is the paper and the particular print method used: cotton paper is always realised by impressing different layers of paper one on top of the other, creating a very thick and absorbent paper. At the same time, the paper presents unique traits in its texture and edge thanks to the craftsmanship of its production process.

At the same time, the print has had to be on a flatbed surface, to avoid bending the thick cotton paper and ensure that the ink is imprinted evenly.
